Tamil Nadu political crisis LIVE: Sasikala camp may approach President if Governor Vidyasagar Rao does not call them today

It’s been over a week since O Panneerselvam resigned as the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, but there is no end to the political crisis in the state yet. As the war of the Tamil Nadu throne continues between Panneerselvam and AIADMK General Secretary VK Sasikala Natarajan, reports now say that the battle may reach President Pranab Mukherjee. Television channel India Today quoted sources from the Sasikala camp as threatening that they will march to the President if Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vidyasagar Rao does not contact Chinnamma for forming the government. The Sasikala camp has claimed the support of 129 MLAs and and say that they will only wait for the Governor’s call till Monday.
