Japan earthquake: Here’s why it brings back nightmares of Fukushima nuclear disaster

In a disastrous turn of events Japan was today hit by a 6.9 magnitude earthquake. The earthquake hit the Fukushima prefecture this morning. This served in bringing back nightmarish memories of the 2011 Fukushima nuclear disaster that caused massive damage in 2011.
Taking immediate precautionary measures, Japanese authorities ensured that people residing along the northeast coast moved up higher. As horrifying  memories come flooding back to mind,  there is a need to understand why the nuclear power plant could spell enormous trouble for  the world.
